Donnie Wilson Motorsports has long been a proving ground for future NASCAR talent, producing names like Chandler Smith, Sammy Smith, Corey Heim, William Sawalich, and Giovanni Ruggiero — several of whom are already NASCAR race winners. Cole Butcher, the team’s longest-tenured and most senior full-time driver, now takes his own step onto that path. While he’s been busy dominating the ASA STARS National Tour, his Truck Series debut at Bristol shows he’s following in the footsteps of his Wilson teammates who’ve already made the leap.
